The Sudanic People

These speak Sudanic languages. Examples in Uganda include; Lugbara,Madi, Okebo and Lendu. They live in West Nile. Their main activities were crop cultivation, cattlekeeping and iron smelting.

Immigration and Migration

Origin refers to a point from which people come. Migration is the movement of people from one place to another.
 
Immigration is the process in which people enter a country in order to live there permanently.
 
Immigrant is a person who comes to settle in a country.
Emigration is to leave your country in order to live in another country.
 
People migrate from one place to another or part of the world for different reasons. Long ago, people also migrated just like it is today.
 
Let us look at the different movements of ethnic groups.
